edit: Which makes sense if you believe their point of view that anything non-islamic is evil and must be destroyed. But clearly that's a misguided view.
That doesn't give their government the right to execute the protesters wholesale. If the KKK demonstrated through the streets peacefully, I wouldn't stand for the police sniping them. If Assad is putting down peaceful demonstrations, he needs to go, no matter what his politics are.
