Y'all this place is really nice. Hiked up some hills to Lugano Switzerland and made our way back to como by boat. Never would have come to this part of Italy without someone bringing me here. This is a must see place in Italy.

I did six weeks in Vicenza about 150 +/- miles east of you many moons ago. Traveled all around the base of the mountains in northern Italy.
Absolutely beautiful area.

Vicenza is where I am at for the time being. Couple italian officers brought a couple of the us guys up here. I think from here we are going south for bars and dancing which is too far out of my comfort zone. I just want to sit and stare at the water and relax. The view is stunning.

Cinque Terre in Italy is my favourite place in the whole world.
Also highly recommend the Amalfi coast in the south.

I know Florence, that is down by Darby. I meant cinque terre, and don't use Italian words! Second thought it is ok as I have Italian help here.

I was stationed at Darby. Used to spend every off duty weekend in Firenze. It's the best city in Europe. Anyone who thinks otherwise is probably dum
