I use an ASUS VH236H for my console games, it is the best.

Sounds like he is about as "tech geek" as a tech blogger. Alienware is crap, a real tech geek would demand that you build it yourself

I don't think overheating is much of an issue in Mane's part of the woods.

Samsung. 5 of them over the last 12 years, including 2 tv's.

I still have all 5 of them. They all still work.

Although... the quality the last couple years is falling off.

If you bought an Alienware anything, all you've done is buy a name brand that Alienware slaps an alien head on and charges you double for.
