The MMO boards died, literally. My guess is that was the only thing carrying them for a long time. Hell only one of the WoW class boards has received a new post since November of last year.
I guess everyone on VN that played an MMO, especially WoW, quit playing.

I guess everyone on VN that played an MMO, especially WoW, quit playing.
Even the main WoW board has seen a significant decrease in traffic over the past year, what with Cata being so (relatively) unpopular here and all the new games out.

Id guess they dont want to maintain more than one board type, user set, code, etc... Its all a maintenance mess, so consolidating everything to the newest/latest system is the smart choice.
