Thinking about upgrading to windows 7 and wondering if people have had compatibility issues with it.
Edit: it looks like people in fall of 09 were saying there were some issues with it based on a google search.

You will be able to run DAoC on win 7 x64 fine. Biggest things i noticed after upgrading was having to launch vent as *Run as Administrator* for mic to work (there is a new version of vent but i haven't tested it) and if you were running > 2 accounts you can't just kill the MTU anymore so you will need Lottacam.exe

runs great on windows 7 64-bit for me. two clients, 1920x1080 resolution, 250ish fps last time I had playclaw running.

No issues for me either. W7 x64
Just make sure you run it as Admin..
and like the person above a few posts back, Vent requires to be run as Admin as well, for the mic issue.

Make sure your motherboard will support more RAM and at the speed you expect it to run.
Windows 7, 64-bit Home Premium will support up to 16 gigs and that will be just fine (actually 8 gigs would manage well enough).
Motherboards will support the amount they say, but sometimes at a slower speed than they say or you might expect.
