Is there an easy way to migrate your HD to an SSD?

In essence is there an easy way (Under windows 7) to give your computer a command // run a program // whatever to copy your system completely over to an SSD -- walk away for a couple of hours -- come back and turn your computer off -- set the boot to the SSD and you are back in business?
Or do you have to re-install windows onto the SSD then re-install all of your drivers and the programs you use -- then copy all of the data files (major pain in the neck) -- IE what you would have to do if virus infected.

If you mean the entire drive there are plenty of cloning utilities. A good one is Marcium Reflect... I use both the free and paid versions and they work great.

I just reloaded fresh onto my ssd.
It's nice to have a fresh system.
All my important things stayed on my old drives and have always been backed up, plus most things are going to stay on the old drive (even though I formatted it and then copied it all back without the OS). No reason to store unnecessary things on the ssd.
So really it's just a few programs to install again. Didn't take long at all.

intel SSDs come with cloning software
ocz's i think require you to DL software from somewhere else

i did what ticky did. it boots in 15secs. scary fast.

I would probably set up drive mirroring in windows, let them synch, then remove the old drive and break the mirror.

I also had to do some things to free up space. My 60gb drive had like 20gb left after windows installed.
I turned off page file which freed up a whole 16gb, disabled hibernate and ie8.
All the sudden I had like 41gb free, which was after I installed maya.
