I ordered one at the $99 level. It's a cool idea and I can think of all kinds of applications for it, especially considering you can roll your own sensors for it.

If I read that correctly, it is a sensor that monitors several different conditions and, upon being triggered, will contact you via phone or computer.

It's a device that can connect to your wireless network and communicate with you via several means (email, twitter, SMS, others). You can attach up to four sensors to each device (two internal plus two external). These sensors can have rules that trigger the communication. So, with the built in motion sensor, you could say "email me if this thing moves more than an inch from its starting location" and attach it to a door. You'd know every time that door opened or closed.
