lmao. no. my i5-2500k runs at 4.4 stable at around 50c idle.

80 C is a bit hot for a CPU... might want to look at your cooling solution to make sure it is connected / running properly.

Always expect dust to raise the C value of a cpu by about 10-15 degrees from when you initially set up the system. This assumes you clean the thing out every couple of months... Expect +20-25 if you don't.
