buy a netti pot once your able to get out again...and use it once a week or whenever you start to feel run down. Keeping some Distilled water on hand is good...I have to have distilled water for my sleep apnea machine...the cpap machine...tap water got too much gunk and will gunk up my machine.  So anyways...Netti pot without distilled water will work just fine. My husband used it with tap water and the salt it came with, and he hasn't had any brain eating amoeba's or anything...but he did marry me, so maybe he did

You don't need to worry about amoeba in your water - west side water supplies do not get hot enough to support it.
