I would guess the bb would penetrate more, and I am looking for deep penetration. 
I would think an old style pellet would impact more.
But now they have those pointed pellets which may get that deep satisfying penetration I am looking for.

Interesting concept, multiple projectiles creating more chances to penetrate me. It would be like Saturday night at the truck stop.
