So I had him dip a toothpick in Dave's Insanity Sauce and try it yesterday. It had him smoking the rest of the day. Beer couldn't touch it. And when he belched 2 hours later the burn started again. Then I had him add more to his chili. LOL I love it when someone says they like hot food then feel like they have to prove it.

There is a big difference between flavor and heat. I hate the trend towards tongue numbing sauces.

Dave's has flavor. But it is STRONG on the heat. We would make big pots of chili (plenty of crushed red pepper and other spicy peppers and whatnot) and a couple drops would usually do the trick. Most people I know couldn't even handle that.
We love spicy but it has to be hot AND have flavor, otherwise it's worthless.

Yup. I love spicy food, but not to the point where I can't taste anything but that nuclear-metal-too-much-capsaicin taste.
Sometimes I like just tasting spicy sauces, though. I remember going to a party a few years back where they were passing around a tiny bottle of some kind of hot sauce. We were just sampling from the RIM of the bottle. For some reason, I wound up monopolizing the bottle, I just couldn't stop tasting it. It was a pretty delicious hot sauce, wish I could remember what it was.
