Mangler had an accident on the way home from the liquor store. He was run off the road and crashed into a woman's clinic. It was one giant Pabst smear.

Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, 'Where have I gone wrong?' Then a voice says to me, 'This is going to take more than one night.'
Elitist.

In the case of listing A, B, and C, the "Oxford comma" is the comma placed after the letter B. Some people use it and some people do not.

This cartoon shows how using it or not can create very different situations. Rather than those all being separate entities, removing the comma pairs the last two together.

To be proper grammar the way that these Oxford people are reading the sentence it should be "We invited the strippers: JFK and Stalin."

So technically they are being snooty about grammar and not following proper grammar to make the non-oxford comma users look bad /shrug
