Bowling leagues are fun.  I could never understand all the drinking though. I would have a few beers and totally suck! Everyone drank buckets 
I usually had 2-3 beers a night for bowling league. I bowled better with a few in my system but if I am drunk bowling I suck.

I bowled on leagues for almost 8 years. I think that contributed to the problems I have with my right shoulder now.

His arm will heal...
He was using muscles that has not been used in the way you would throw a ball down the lane. The more he bowls, the less sore he will be...
The last time I bowled was in a tournament and that was after a 2-year hiatus... Arm was sore for about a week... heh...

Joined a league with my fiancee a couple weeks ago, avg at 216. At #14 (684) for top 24 for scratch qualifying tournament in April. Also, joined Adult\Junior league with future stepson, avg at 230.
Bowling in Wichita much more popular than in Nashville. Lots of tournaments about, which I will be looking forward to participating in once I hit 21 games in league play.
Bowling is my hobby after AC, well, not so much now with a pseudo-famiy, lol. AC playtime has been reduced to a fraction of what it had been for the last 12 years.
