We used to do that in grade school believe it or not. It was actually fun most of the time, sometimes you got the crap beat out of you.
We were lucky nothing bad ever happened though.

perhaps so, I didn't watch the full video. They all appear to be wearing boxing gloves so it didn't appear to be anything out of the ordinary to me. Most of them are probably drunk. And I understand Russian so I was able to make out the camera guy imploring one of the fighters to stop hitting a guy in the face when he was down.
he yelled "He's had enough!" and the guy backed down so it's not like there's no rules in this melee
