Though, it also depends on if they need our natural resources. If they need water, they don't wanna go irradiating it with a nuclear fallout.

They just show up and say:
Free food, cable TV, interweb, and health care for everyone...if you kill those idiots who are leading you now and and let us take over. We wont change a thing, except give you that stuff.
The end.
PS. Three weeks later, with all world "leaders" dead and everyone very happy about it, they start eating 1,000 people a day at random. No one cares, hell, it's a better system than we had before.

I'm pretty sure they would be looking for the best tasting people, so probably mostly 20-30's (Prime of life, but before the toxins they ingest daily have time to flavor the meat) with the rest toddlers for the veal factor.
Might occasionally throw in some geezers to make stock or something I guess.
