Do yourself a BIG favor.
If you have to have the throw out bearing replaced......replace the rest of the clutch components while you are in there(they usually come as a set including the throw out bearing, clutch cover and clutch disc). If you just replace the throw out bearing and the rest of the clutch is worn as well you will have to repeat the same labor process a SECOND time to replace the other components. If you are keeping the car its better to bite the bullet and have it all done at once.

That's what I've decided to do. I'm driving this car until it dies, no point in needing to put a new clutch in come a year or 2 and have to do the whole thing over again, essentially. The guy mentioned it, going to tell me how the clutch looks, but with 142k on this clutch, might as well put a new one in while it's all out.
