Looking for anecdotes about Obama's past

Forget all the conspiracy theories about Obama. Did he have any friends in elementary school, high school, college? Any funny/touching/disturbing stories from his youth? Any old girlfriends?
All you know is he went to school in Indonesia and Hawaii. Went to Harvard and somehow ended up in Chicago. Was a state senator and then was elected senator because 7 of 9 doesn't like to get her freak on. And now he is president.
Plenty of milestones but there still seems to be a lot missing.
