Grad schools are pretty packed right now with so many people out of work going back to school. It might take a while unless she looks at really unusual options.

don't know and my husband tells me I'm wrong, she had applied to like 15 schools.  so I think the grad school idea is probably over for now.

Can she go back and re-take those courses she got a D in and see if she can bring up the GPA, or is that not allowed?

no idea what her undergrad transcript looks like. she'd been working as a scientist for a pharmaceutical company for a number of years.

I think I go to a better university than any one on here, and I'll be getting into a Ph.D program for neuroscience in a year or two.
Probably at a better grad school than any one here.
Don't know why I wanted to mention it, but meh.
