of my two brief stints working for restaurants, I can say that a manager that jumps in helps when things get rough is worth their weight in gold. The absolute worst manager I ever had would go downstairs and smoke whenever we had a rush, and pretend like she was working on schedules. Instead of letting me go like I expected when I called her on her sh*t she just quit scheduling hours for me.

that's what my daughter is on as well, she likes the shot a lot better, a lot less nausea. Unfortunately she has to go to Harborview every week to get the injection, they've been working on getting it worked out so she can do a self injection but they have to get all kinds of approval for it before they can teach her how to do it.

I hate that crap. They wanted to keep me in the hospital an extra day to teach me to give myself a shot of insulin even though I had already been doing it for over a year. I told them fine, call the insurance company and explain to them why you want to keep me an extra day or I will call them. They got me out the same day.

my daughter is the test case for the self injection through Harborview's Arthritis clinic, which is why it's taking so long. They have to write proceedures and get approvals from the doctors and then the nurses, and the nurses union etc. because it's a dangerous drug and nobody wants the responsibility for teaching her, but the shot is given the same exact way you do insulin.
