apparently the student membership price is good for up to 4 years after the trial, but you can't share it with other household members like you can with regular prime.

Still cheaper than a store more than half the time. Used to be at least 90% of the time it was cheaper than a store though.

Nah, you are missing the point.

Amazon prime eligible items seem to be going up while the same items NOT via prime are not.

AKA, Amazon is hitting you up for extra.

i dont use prime, just reg amazon but get stuff usually when it is free shipping.
