use to have one every year when son was younger and all his cousins would hunt eggs

The parks department has a huge egg hunt here for the community each year. there is a golden egg that gives a huge prize and several other nice gifts are given out.

There was an egg hunt here today for all the kids that go to the daycare the nuns also run.

EDIT: On a 2nd note, I still decorate eggs using melted wax and creating patterns between dyings. My family did this every year when I was growing up, which had been done in my mom's family, who are of Chech descent. Pysanka

Of course, I have no artisitic skills whatsoever, but I still like to do it, lol.

I don't even know what Easter is. It's one of those ambiguous holidays like Lent or Rosh Hashanah.

Nobody knows what it is, or how to celebrate it, they're just vaguely aware of its existence.
