Do you participate in an Egg hunt of any kind for easter?

Every year my mom's community does a HUGE community Easter egg hunt for the kids... We are talking 4 streets and 90% of the houses participating in at least hiding goodies for the kids to find in their area. We gather all the kids in the tech school parking lot at the end of the central street and hand them baskets to collect the goodies in. Then the parents take the kids around the neighborhood searching for the goodies which are hidden only in the front and side yards of the houses.
This year they managed to get the local Fire dept involved, so there will be a small truck patrolling around like on Halloween to make sure everyone stays safe and handing out goodies. After the hunt there are several other Easter related activities hosted in the school's parking lot such as Egg painting, and there is even a burlap sack race that is held in my mom's yard (she has the biggest yard in the neighborhood)
The Event gets bigger every year and some of the streets further down have petitioned to join in, but they are trying to keep it small area wise for the safety of the kids.
