So they're not launching 1.8, but they're releasing server version of 1.8, so it doesn't even matter.... Wut.

Steel may actually be asleep. I swear he does that now and then. 
I'd be fine with trying pre-release server but if they make changes it might have to be wiped again right away when the real 1.8 is out.
I haven't tried the server yet myself.
