I never stuck with that grind long enough to get the mount, but from what I've read the equivalent Horde mount (the raptor in Ungoro) is MUCH easier to obtain than the Wintersaber, which doesn't seem fair but whatever. I'm sure the Wintersaber grind has been nerfed like the others and it is much easier to get the mount now.

I was lucky enough to do the Wintersaber grind before it was very popular to do.  I had 50 mounts BEFORE achievements came out. lol
