They're dumbing it down so much more that they will now hold your hand throughout the looting process.
No. They should of done this from Day 1.
What I fail to see is why people like you insist on subjecting everything that makes things BETTER as "dumbed down" ? Have you even played MMO's for longer than WoW has been out?
I have been around MMO's since they first came out. Not all the crap we "remember fondly" is fun. Most sucked ass and would drive us away if it was done now.

I survived to the end and got nothing out of it, but hey.

the auto roll thing for LFR will be very good more time was spent bitching because some guildie also rolled for his friend and gave him the loot because the friend lost the roll but the other won it then the raid always became hostile afterwards
the valor thing i'm not to crazy about... i've gone WEEKS of constantly losing rolls or just not seeing anything for me so atleast with valor you would eventually got some kind of raid equivalent item now it will be used just to upgrade gear you get from raids?

I think thats where the "bonus roll" token comes into play..

Seems like a good system. Will force people to raid the spec they're trying to equip rather than trying to find a spec (that they may never use) that could possibly justify them taking a given item in the NBG system.

It's a great change and I think it's more exciting to get a drop than a token. The end result is the same, pretty much, you get an item, but getting it right then and there is more fan than a token.
