I seriously had some downs back then. That being said I was still in high school. It's amazing how long ago that really was. Still one of the best games/communities ever. It's always great when I see someone in WoW that played Daoc. Sadly I haven't ran into many from Gawaine.

I did think that short stint Warhammer was pretty cool. It was like a daoc reunion. I just couldn't take playing that game. I had so many expectations of it being daoc ver 2 that I really let myself down playing it.

I got curious and did an ol' google search on Divine Vengeance guild and got a hit on some screen shots. http://www.vastydeep.com/ Lots of old hib names there.

That's sad I never made a list, but I think by '02 I was long gone. I did get to 2nd on the Gawaine zerker list for a bit at some point, but dropped quick once they nerfed and I stopped playing Uruz in favor of my battlegrounds hunters.

Rags thats the story I have told to every youngster who ever asked me what DAOC was since it happened. The magnitude of the effort alone makes it epic in their minds.
