The Canon Power Shots are very nice cameras. Have bought/suggested a few over the last couple years for people and they have been really happy.

Loving the photos. One day I'll make good on my promise and start posting some more pics myself too
I love my camera, but I would like to have a more compact one as well. My current favourite atm is the Samsung NX100. It's small, compact and has interchangable lenses. It's a bit to expencive for me atm though

Looks like I talked my husband into getting the compact
He travels a lot with his work and really needs a compact to take with him for work and touristy purposes, he uses our daughters little Sony at the moment.
It's our wedding anniversary in March so we're going to get it for us both to use.
