My husband and I don't have text messaging enabled on our own personal phones, why would we for our children?

I'm not letting my son waste too much money. I'll charge him rent as soon as he gets a cell phone. The rent will be directly deposited into his education savings.
Majority of those acronyms are crap though. FB usually means FaceBook... I have seen it mean the other though.

hey all... been a while since i've been to the boards. Hope everyone's doing ok 
to those who say this list is rubbish: my husband works in a secondary school (11-16 year olds)as a guidance manager. Part of his job involves dealing with problems caused by phones, texting, photos etc etc and computers (MSN and facebook give him the biggest headache!)
Because of these hassles he often has to gather evidence from phones, and he recognizes a good half of the acronyms on that list!
