i can pronounce it only because i been to the restaurant 1000 times. there was one on campus when i was in college...went there a few times a week to avoid the cafeteria food. sadly there isn't one nearby me now.

I was saying chi-poe-tel for ages until a US-savvy work colleague told me to say chip-oat-lay.
Hey, I'm from the UK, how would I know?
Half the time it isn't even spelled right on the menu here.
