thats pretty gross and i can't say i'm sure i've ever seen it. i mean i've seen water damage on books but i usually assume pool or beach...this gives me a whole new gross possibility to consider next time 
we're too picky here to take anything like that. if a book shows more than just light reading wear we won't take it in. i spend most of my day telling people why i won't take their crappy books. i've thrown people right out before for bringing in boxes of books with roaches, silverfish and even ants in them. that's the nice thing about being an independent rather than a chain store. if the customer is an ass or an idiot you can toss them out the door.
