wtf @ the new windows update

that's weird. i have it set at the lowest just before off completely and it's still doing it. i noticed after the patch, it was set one above the max. it's still doing it when any torrent program kicks in and it did it when steam updated one of my games.  guess i'll have to turn it off. i'm always super careful but since the old uac wasn't an annoying pos, i didn't mind it asking when i was installing stuff but jesus. this is ridiculous.

It happens even to people with the best of the best. For some reason, Windows 7 seems to think Aero is harming performance when it's not even close to do so.
Anyway I got rid of it, case closed. Not to mention it also suppresses other annoying and useless messages.

Hrm just installed the latest update, and have had no change to UAC either.

i wonder what made my uac go wonky after the update then. i've turned it off because 90% of what i do was popping up a request on me.
