Today they are all doing everything they can to talk it down as irrelevant.

The media exposing themselves in this fashion is a dream come true. The more they keep doing this the more it will become obvious that they are not in league with the American people and in turn Americans will seek to bypass an establishment that deserves no trust or credibility. But now you have to worry about getting hit with a SOPA hammer should it come to be signed into [unconstitutional] law, because once the establishment gets into its death throes, things will get ugly.

Huh?
It's basically all the 23/7 political news media is covering since it's the first election and many candidates focus there. You'd think that by the constant coverage, it was the most important election ever. They're trying to give context by explaining that it is not as important as people pretend.
McCain came in 4th in Iowa in '08.
