Its all smoke and mirrors. If things get really bad there the troops will return. Also using private contractors for the war and renaming combat troops another name but have them do the same missions is not good.

I really believe the only difference between Obama and Republicans is Obama will say he regrets doing what he is doing but has no choice. Republicans of course would have no regrets

No doubt about it. Obama is a centrist leaning right on defense. Still the others are further to the right. This is a difference.
