No, it's code for 'not a religious zealot'.

Personally, I rather like Mormons. They are one of the few Christian groups that actually walk the walk.

But anyway, whether or not he's a RINO is y'all's problems. I wouldn't vote for him even if he was a Democrat. The guy's a snake oil salesman.

I don't mind Romney but then again I don't think he has many convictions beyond wanting to cut spending and rework some things so they are financially more sound.


He will cave when it comes to cutting deep into entitlements IMO. He would have a hard time balancing the tea party in the house and the Dems and the moderate Republicans everywhere else.

I think more liberals than conservatives dislike the idea of a Mormon presdient, but I don't think you'll find many of them donating to Super PACs out of fear of it, either.
