Why do they have to be so fattening!!!! I could eat them everyday like my sister eats Little Debbies.
sliced with salt..mashed..on a sandwich..in a salad..
I am jealous of people that can grow these and pick them at will...must be so good fresh off the tree.

Seriously..if i let myself..i could probably eat 3 no problem. This is why I can't buy them every week or I will have problems fitting into my sexy clothes.

I eat about 1 a day either in a sandwich or in a smoothie.. very good source of healthy fat.

My mother planted an avocado seed in her backyard. The tree has grown pretty big (taller than the house) but no fruit yet! I think it's about 5 years old so should start producing soon.

They are worth it. I use them instead of butter. They will not make you fat. Just use portion control.
