If you're going play Uthgard. It's a classic server, as in pre-SI and is about 2/3 european.

Pictish camps........ best gold framing in the game

Mythic added these camps to the game in late December 2011. The mobs drop weapons which are tailored for the RVR server's battlegrounds.
The highest level weapons — the ones you get from the 16.5 dps camps — sell for 53 gold, and every mob drops a weapon.
You can farm plat very fast at these camps.
