Quote:

“The selection of a Republican candidate for the presidency of this globalized and expansive empire is — and I mean this seriously — the greatest competition of idiocy and ignorance that has ever been,” said the retired Cuban leader, who has dueled with 11 U.S. administrations since his 1959 revolution.

When a somewhat intelligent man can single-handedly set up shop less than 100 miles off the coast of the world's superpower and repeatedly make it look like a chump... that says something about our lack of leadership in Washington over the years.

And about the inability of our FEDERAL government to deal in the micro. (Cuba is simply too small a country and economy for the behemoth US federal structure to deal with effectively).

In a weird way, Castro is a cautionary tale about why we need more decentralization and states' rights to deal with the many issues around the US.

Well gosh. I guess they'll all just have to suffer the loss of that oh-so-coveted and crucial Castro endorsement, since Obama seems to have that one sewn up.

This here post is pretty much the perfect example of AA's technique. Write something stunningly stupid. and puff it up like its words of wisdom.

we already knew who Castro was endorsing.

I guess now we can anxiously wait for those coveted Chavez, Putin, and Kim Jong-un endorsements.
