With evidence of our government having designed shiz like this before, why then is it such an outrage when some people dare to think that 9/11 was an inside job?

The government has been doing crap like this for years. Waco? Those folks were never coming out. I recall sitting at Ft. Stewart, GA when that was going on. We were watching the coverage and they were talking about what units were there. We were a rapid deployment unit. Heck, if you drew the first response detail you could be anywhere on the globe trading bullets within 18 hours.
We looked at the units described (which did not have our level of preparedness) and thought....Huh, I wish WE had some of THAT equipment! We also noted the hair styles were not IAW AR 670-1 (their hair was too long).
At that point we said "Guess they're gonna kill them all" and changed the channel. We really didn't think a whole lot about it.
I knew guys who took "NBC pills" and later got "Desert War Syndrome". The funny thing about those pills? We had NEVER seen them before. I told guys to ditch them because it was an experiment but most just laughed. Years later I saw on CNN a story about those "experimental pills might have contributed to Desert War Syndrome".
There is a long list of the government doing crap to soldiers and citizens.
You don't have to believe it if you don't want to and you can /laugh and call me a /tinfoil but things are what things are.

Saw this on reddit, and thought it was interesting.
"One retrospectively interesting aspect of this pilot episode is that the airliner has been hijacked (via remote control of the plane's autopilot) and, by the end, both Byers and his father have boarded the plane to try to stop the hijacking. Through the aid of the other Gunmen, they are able to regain control of the plane and just miss crashing into the World Trade Center with the airliner. This, of course, was before the actual 9/11 attack against the World Trade Center later that year. Similar to actual conspiracy theories posited about the events of 9/11, the episode's plot indicates that the hijacking was committed as an act of voracity by a greedy American arms manufacturer to ultimately increase its weapons sales by invoking U.S. retaliation against a scapegoated anti-American extremist dictator.[2]"

So it doesn't really mean anything that the CIA actually wanted to see if they could do this? I mean I am fairly sure this plan was rejected by JFK I would assume, I bet he was one of the more ethical Presidents we've ever had in the last century. I could think of a few administrations that would sign on for a operation like that if it was presented and if the circumstances were right.
People who automatically presume our government is incapable of committing these sort of things have already signed over their personal liberties

If I had to bet my life on it or even $100 I'd say that 9/11 was not an inside job. However, the evidence is out there that certainly says that our government has not only thought about it, but they have actually put plans on paper to do it.
It's like sitting at the bar with a friend who says if he ever really needs the money he would probably quarter his wife out with an axe and burn the house down, then collect the insurance money. A year later his wife is found apparently chopped up by a chainsaw and lying in the smoldering ruins of her home... and his friend Koneg won't even entertain the idea that the guy might have done it.
Meanwhile, the rest of us think it's possible.

No, but the MILITARY units they cited in the area would. Nice stuff they had. The problem was that the type of unit (per Tables of Organization and Equipment) would have INFERIOR items to what our unit had.
