That's a great price. I just checked to see if they had any available in the stores near me and there are none in stock in the Bay Area.

That TV was $3000 six months ago. It's the same one I got for $600.00. Sinlock was talking about 120mhz at $1000 so....

Can the human eye really tell the difference between 120mhz and 240mhz?

In most programs, no. But you'll be able to tell in high speed sports and action movies, for example.

I just bought an awesome LG last night! This one:
http://www.frys.com/product/6535443?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG
That Sony looks beautiful, enough that I *might* consider trying to return the LG. However, it looks like it's completely unavailable. "Unavailable" on shipping, and their online 'check stores' function shows it as 'Unavailable' at all nearby stores.

They stopped making them I think. The new life cycle of a TV model is hopelessly short. I didn't realize they weren't available anymore.
You got all the same stuff basically.

Yes. Boobs are larger at 240mhz.

I have the 42" version of that tv and it is excellent, replaced my 42" plasma with it about 6 months ago could not be happier.
