1. If the kid is thieving, he's breaking the law. That's a far cry from being a typical teen complaining about chores.
2. The mother didn't announce it on youtube and try to become the center of attention.
3. The mother didn't self-pwn by destroying her own property.
4. The mother may have actually embarssed her kid and taught him a lesson, as opposed to the father that only succeeded in making his kid more popular than ever while making himself look like a stereotype redneck.
