I don't think we can call RP deceptive. He has been voting and speaking the same way for 30 years.

That is where your reasoning is flawed. Him and the campaign aren't trying to deceive anyone. Quite contrary, they have been openly talking about this to empower people to fight monied interests. While you think you are standing on principle (which I can appreciate), you are simply in error of assessing what is going on.

Otherwise I agree about the Citizen's United outcome, that was a disaster. Our system is raped by monied interests. It is sad that it is so difficult to get people to work together to stop it and change the system.

If Ron Paul could win the nomination via shenanigans orchestrated by his campaign, it would be beyond pointless.

It would cause a massive rift in the party and the Libertarian types would be cast out looking like the bad guys.

Obama would win the general election by 25 points or more.
