Fixing an easy meal today!

On weekends I'm going to try to cook. Going to fix an easy salmon steak (very Pacific NW!) and some rice

Fixing an easy meal today!

If you leave the skin on (assuming a fillet) lay it in on oil skin-side down in a shallow baking pan, sprinkle with non-salted seasoning and squeeze a quarter lemmon onto it.
Cover with foil and bake for about 20 minutes at 350 F.
The skin will detach nicely while keeping the fish from sticking to the foil.
With the (brown) rice, add some mandarin sections to it while cooking.
Me, I like asparagus as a side.

Ya asparagus would be better than rice. Love it too!
This simple type of meal is what I plan to do in the future for my girlfriend. Simple. Good. Fun.

I like the brown rice AND asparagus - you got fish, grains, fruit and vegetable in one easy meal.

Your body treats rice just like sugar. So if you aren't going biking or doing some rigorous exercise you should skip the rice.

No salmon available at QFC today so I went with a small steak and some asparagus. Ya I need to lose ten pounds so I will skip the rice

Must roast sweet potatoes with your salmon and asparagus. Just cut the suckers in half, oil and season. ROAST EM UP!
