I liked both Roth Halen and Van Hagar. The third incarnation sucked tho.

I thought the same. There's some killer riffs there. Sometimes there's a reason these olders guys don't put out new material.

I was considering seeing them in L.A. but they are touring with Kool and the Gang.

I was pleasantly surprised as well.
Roth had turned into a washed-up lounge singer for years, but he pulled this off pretty well.
