Over here they often find old bombs from WWII. I would say about 1-2 times a year in my little home town alone. Usually they are able to defuse them without much problems. But as time goes on this gets trickier. Especially bombs with a chemically delayed fuse are bound to go off on their own eventually. Or if you touch them. With a feather. Anyway it's no big deal and we're used to them. What I always wanted to know though: Do you still get registered as an official WWII casualty if you end up getting killed by one hidden under your strawberry patch?

That'd be kinda awesome but I'd prefer losing a leg over an arm to be honest.

#2 "I lost it in WWII, on the Siegfried line!"

There was an Orlando elementary school that had to close a few years back because they had built it atop an old Army live firing range and the precious children were digging up bombs at recess.

I had a dream. It was an incredible dream. When I awoke, I had a huge mess to clean up.
