I was going to share the secret of wiki and spending 5 minutes to learn 2 random factoids on a topic in order to argue with people that have spent their career on it.

I tell people my background but if people would rather fumble away at a problem rather than take my help then that's ok. It's a learning opportunity for them. If and when they change their mind I'm around.
But I'm boring like that.
