Fat is alright. If you are fat then you have to accept yourself as you are. Getting out of shape is a downward ever-accelerating spiral out of control. Your appetite for food is like a drug. The good news is you can change. All it takes is a little behavioral conditioning and some type of psychological counseling dealing with your underlying problems. You are changing a habit which ruins the quality of your life. I blame myself?
There's a lot of choices I've made have resulted in the weight I am now. I've lost 35 pounds in the last 5 months or so, so I'm going in the right direction.

Food is a refuge for a lot of people.
Eating is something they can still enjoy no matter how unattractive they become.
Since we hooked my wife's very over weight boss up with my down and out buddy with hygiene issues both of their appearances have begun to improve and both of them are much more active socially.
She's lost weight, and he's been pursuing job opportunities and cleaning up his appearance.
It's good to see both of them engage life instead of hiding behind their bad habits.
