So is Paul rebranding himself as a liberal now? And also presenting some separation between himself and liberals he disagrees with by calling them libtards? Is this new and different from his claim of libertarianism, or does he have a great argument for being both or neither at the moment?

I have always called myself a liberal. In fact I have always claimed to be the most liberal person on the Outpost and have challenged anyone to put their positions side by side with mine and show that they are more liberal than me.
Obrien is the only one to take the challenge so far and he went down in flames on the very first issue. And it was an issue of his choosing.
