Is it really that good? I've almost watched it several times now but for some reason always find something that looks better.

Phil seems a bit excited, but it is a good flick; extra so if you are curious to see a close up look of Afghanistan on the ground.
Its not Hollywood, its pure documentary.

It's good. It gives you a really solid and unfiltered look at average day to day in Afghanistan. Very good troop movie. Without trying it shows our soldier's lack of options or control over what they are up against. When I saw it I almost felt relieved at how good our guys are. Good people, trying to have some fun amidst constant danger.

You forgot to mention that they are placed in one of the most dangerous outposts in afghanistan where they get shot at every single day by insurgents. Those soldiers are outnumbered in the middle of nowhere, its like a death trap cause theres no hospital close by and they make it look like its nothing.. They're so confident and fearless man they aren't intimidated at all. Like that movie makes me wanna join the marine corps and be like that.

Thats right moe its not that hollywood bullsh*t where a bunch of cowards pretend to be real men they will never be, a bunch of cowards risking nothing and getting paid to take the spot light and glory of real soldiers. That movie has real soldiers, killing real insurgents, risking their lives and dying for real. Thats a real war movie, not your f*cking saving private ryan black hawk down bullshit*t.
