Housing is even more of a niche than PvP.

I owned an entire Villa settlement and a mansion not far from the settlement in Asheron's Call.
Apartments are the only housing option that isn't located on the landscape.
Though, AC has a 500sq Km zone-free landscape for that housing to exist on.

One of the cool things about housing in AC1 is that if you buy a house owned previously by someone who didn't clean it out before they quit, then you get all the stuff in the chest, as well as all the wall hangings etc. Can be an easy way to get some decent items.
