I reloaded a few years ago when I was between games just to see what was going on. I think I played maybe an hour before quitting and uninstalling. It just isn't the same.

Except for controls that feel a bit awkward by today standards, and few hours spent to
respec and redo hotbars, game feels just fine...but to not find single name that I'd
remember makes me feel like Will Smith in "I Am Legend".
It seems community was bigger part than game itself, at least for me

the gamma rocks, ya can see a night
quest too lvl 10,20 min in the starter town 10-45 BGs then glass quest in toa to 50, 5 to 8 HRs with arits lvl 10

also, if EA was smart...
they would wait until a big rival MMO was gonna be released...
then make DAOC FTP to pull the rug out from under them.

I still think if they made it f2p they should still bring back an old emain server to rival the other server and I bet many would come back

they should have neutered the PKs and made NF an extension of OF.
